The artwork symbolizes today‘s humans. Deeply rooted in materialism, moving at a fast pace, empty on the inside, hypnotised by mass media and social networks, and left speechless by the events happening around the world.

The heart, fragile and hanging by a few threads, has the power to revive everything. I can help us find meaning in our lives, and be more compassionate with one another.

Handcraft details

The main wood block was cut with a Japanese cutting saw, carved by hand using chisels, and sanded with a Dremel 4000 tool.
