Meeting Room Animation
Meetings kill productivity (and companies?)
"Can you jump on a quick call?"
The answer should always be NO, but we don't live in that perfect world. Not everybody has the luxury to say "no" to their boss, manager or board members whenever they want to keep that productivity level up. These animations are a reminder of the fact that each Zoom, Meet, Teams or in-office meeting costs valuable time and company money. And let's be honest, the majority of them SHOULD be an email. Or, in the case of OpenAI, one board meeting turned everybody's eyeballs and watched as the drama was unfolding on X.
I made two animations to reflect some of this.
- A pay-what-you-want simple animation depicting the dangers of entering a meeting room.
- A bonus animation in light of the recent OpenAI saga, portraying where it all started: a spontaneous Friday afternoon Google Meet between Sam Altman and the OpenAI board members.
Base frames for the two animations
For each of these versions you'll receive 2 GIF files (original + web optimized) and 2 video files (MP4 + MOV). The latter are smaller and better suited for embedding on the web.
Here's a quick 30-second time-lapse of how I edited and animated the illustration in Procreate:
It was fun to make these and let's hope the OpenAI drama is over🤞 and more companies will switch to an asynchronous work culture.
